Poole Town Centre is the first town centre in Dorset to introduce the Child Safe scheme. This safety scheme offers a hotline number to assist parents and guardians in finding children who have been separated from them whilst out shopping. By calling the dedicated Child Safe number 08700 46 53 96 parents and guardians will be put in contact with the security team, who will use a coordinated approach and CCTV to re-unite them with their children.

The initiative is offered by Poole Town Centre Management’s Safer Business Scheme and in partnership with the Dolphin Shopping Centre, provide children with free wristbands for parents’ or guardians’ mobile number so that, in the event of a child being lost, the parent or guardian can be contacted quickly. The wristbands are available free of charge from the Dolphin Shopping Centre, Poole Tourism office, Ollie's Playland and other locations throughout the town centre

>>A huge thank you to Charlotte and Barbara from the Child Development Centre at Poole Hospital for taking the time to visit Ollie's and deliver a training session for our Crew. We discussed children's play and specifically how our Crew can assist children with disabilities and support their parents / carers. We were delighted to donate £75 to Charlotte's Bobath fund as a 'thank you' for this training. Charlotte is shortly due to attend the 2 month Bobath course and all the Crew send her their very best wishes.
